My sculpture has been inspired by many influences. I strongly love the appearance of natural rock, but also I also appreciate early neolithic attempts at stone work and the Japanese art of the subtle hand of man. The result has been called by others "Primitive Modern" Stone Sculpture. To me art that is functional is an added bonus. Enjoy!
My career started with Landscape Construction and over time melded into Landscape Masonry.
Early on I learned that stone and water were essential to any good landscape and that every garden should have its surprises. This lead me into stone sculpture on a modest scale.
I have been featured in many magazines and have been a featured guest on: This Old House, The Victory Garden, Nova, The Learning Channel, The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, and others around the world.
